Organised, and independent PhD researcher with 8 years of lab-based experience (in the UK and Canada), well trained in a variety of techniques relevant to soft materials and electrochromics. Demonstrating the ability to communicate my findings through oral, written and visual methods to audiences of variable scientific knowledge has been key for talks and collaborative work. The supervision and development of students on short- and longer-term projects has allowed me to excel as a leader. I have displayed high levels of organisation, independence and adaptability, undertaking a three-day solo experiment at ISIS neutron source, coordinating events and addressing challenges of research during the pandemic.
