Has been working in a CDMO for 6 months and unfortunately has been through redundancy. He has a PhD in Organic Synthesis, working on small molecule compounds, within pharmaceutical synthesis and agrochemicals.
The projects have been focused onto ‘building block’ work, <500 mw molecules which has been varied and while his role was cut short, this leads to an immediate availability.
He has enjoyed working in a research environment, using his synthesis skills developed on his PhD and is keen to continue his career elsewhere within the North West of the UK. Will further consider roles in scientific sales and commercially aligned opportunities within the fine chemical or pharmaceutical markets.
