Has recently graduated from a leading UK University where he’s received a 1st class grade for his Masters in Chemistry. During his studies he has worked for a multinational Life Sciences CRO as an R&D Scientist on a 1 year placement, this involved multi gram to kilo scale synthesis work, including him working on multiple pilot plant scale projects and supporting colleagues with tech transfer work to plant scale chemistry and supporting chemistry activities at reactor vessel stage. The role was centred on analytical chemistry and involved regular use of 2D NMR, chiral-LC, HRMS, GC-MS, GC-HS, FTIR, UV-Vis, KF and Auto titrators, ROI, TGA and DSC.
He has had a secondment to Process Research and Development during his placement and on his projects carries out analytical method development activities.
