PhD Process Research and Development will be completed in February 2025. Her PhD programme was sponsored by a multinational fine chemicals company which developed skills in Flow Chemistry, Biocatalysis, Process Chemistry, Synthetic Chemistry, Research and Development, Process Development, Analytical Techniques, Communication, Problem Solving and Teamwork.

The PhD worked on synthesis of chiral amines and amides in flow using immobilised enzymes, continuous purification of complex reaction mixtures using novel separation techniques and using whole-cell systems to perform asymmetric ketone reductions with integrated continuous separations and scale-up (20 L scale), to improve current batch processes.

Is currently in write-up and keen to attend interviews during this time with a view to starting in February/March 2025.
