Holding a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Lancaster University, they have developed a deep understanding of organic synthetic chemistry, particularly in the synthesis and functionalization of complex molecules, with hands-on experience in techniques such as NMR, GC-MS, and chromatography.

They previously worked as a Technical Sales Coordinator for a specialty chemicals distributor, where they served as the primary contact for customers, providing technical advice, managing orders, and overseeing logistics. This role required them to build strong relationships with clients, support supply chain operations, and drive business improvement projects.

In addition to their technical expertise, they have experience in customer relationship management (CRM), project management, and communication. They have also worked in the education sector, teaching chemistry and managing classroom activities, further developing their ability to engage with clients and build rapport.

Currently, they are working as a Marketing Consultant on a fixed term contract wihich is coming to it's conclusion, where they lead projects and engage with clients in the medical, dental, and education sectors. This diverse skill set, combined with their technical and customer-facing experience, positions them as a strong candidate for a sales role in the chemicals industry, offering both technical depth and strong relationship-building capabilities.
